On Wednesday 21st June and Thursday 22nd June, Towers School Performing Arts are performing Willy Russell's play 'Blood Brothers'.
Blood Brothers is set in Liverpool and tells the tale of twin brothers, Mickey and Edward, who are separated at birth. They accidentally meet again aged 7 and immediately become 'blood brothers'. Although they never discover the secret their mother keeps from them, their friendship blossoms and strengthens as they grow older until the huge difference in their background pulls them apart.
Written during a period of huge changes in society and politics, 'Blood Brothers' draws the audience's attention to the detrimental effect that social inequality can have on people's lives.
This is a heart-wrenching production not to be missed!
