On Wednesday 17th May, the annual Towers Dance Showcase took place. Students from Years 7 to 13 performed a variety of contemporary pieces that they choreographed both in lessons and enrichment sessions. Students were given a variety of social and cultural issues to inspire their choreography, such as The Western Wall, Pompeii, evolution and schizophrenia.

A select group of year 10s were invited to the BBC Broadcasting House for School Report Day. They took part in the live audience filming & were given a private tour of the BBC broadcasting house. The studnets got to watch a live news broadcast & talked through the process of fiming live TV.
The students visited the Remembering 1916 Exhibition at the Whitgift Exhibition Centre in Croydon. The exhibition showcases over 600 original objects and artefacts. The students really benefited from seeing the types of objects that they have been learning about in the after school sessions.
Students visited the Laparoscopic Suite and the Simulation Suite. We were given the opportunity to learn how to take someone's blood, give injections and discover the process of laparoscopy.
