Key Stage Four Options
We hope that you and your family enjoyed the half term break. We would like to welcome you back and share information about Key Stage Four Choices and the support on offer. As we are unable to arrange a large gathering for you to come into school, all support for you and your child making Key Stage Four Option choices will be provided online.
Online Careers Summit
As part of the programme of support we have partnered with GT Scholars to invite you and your child to a free virtual Careers Day.
The Careers Day will take place online on Saturday 5th March 2022 from 9:30am to 4:00pm. As parents, you do not have to attend the whole day and your son/daughter can choose which sessions they would like to attend.
Your son/daughter will have the opportunity to meet professionals from a range of companies such as Barclays, NHS, University College London, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, The Penny Group, ExTrac, the University of Birmingham and BRIT Insurance. This event will give our students an idea of the careers that are in high demand and how they can start to develop their own career pathway.
Tickets must be booked online at: https://careersummit.gtscholars.org/
Key Stage Four Choices Website
During the week beginning the 28th February, we will launch our Choices website which will allow your child to explore all of the different options they can study at Key Stage Four. Each page has videos from teaching staff talking you through what studying each course will be like. We highly recommend you and your child setting aside time to explore the site.
Key Stage Four Choices Live Zoom
On Wednesday 9th March, Mr Billings will be hosting a Key Stage 4 Information Evening via Zoom, this will provide an opportunity for you to hear from the Principal and to have any questions answered about the Key Stage Four Choices Process. The booking for this evening can be made here - https://forms.gle/4nMZzFwzZU3b8cby8
