Towers School has published poets!

Six of our students entered the Young Writers’ ‘Empowered’ poetry competition back in October 2021. Out of 14,000 students, all six were chosen for publication. This is an amazing achievement especially as this was a nationwide competition. Only sixteen schools in the country were chosen for publication so this highlights how amazing our students are. 

The students who have been published are:

• Kyle Walshe (Towers School’s KS5 Poet Laureate) – Year 12
• Lois Knight (Towers School’s KS4 Poet Laureate) – Year 10
• Karis Davies – Year 8
• William Jones – Year 8
• Lilymai Denman – Year 8
• Lilia Stone (Towers School’s KS3 Poet Laureate) – Year 7
