Year 13 Business trip to London

On Tuesday 12th December, a group of 21 students from Year 13 visited Covent Garden in London to complete fieldwork on a particular component of the Marketing Mix, to help prepare them for their upcoming exam on Developing a Marketing Campaign. Students looked at the Physical Environments of a number of businesses, discussing what makes somebody enter a store, what makes them make a purchase, what impressions the store made on them visiting. 

There were a number of businesses who have made an exceptional effort this Christmas and Covent Garden during this time was the perfect opportunity for the students to see the Physical Environment component of the Marketing Mix in action. 

Although the weather wasn’t the best, all students had a wonderful day and modelled our Towers values well throughout the day.
