Why teach at Towers?
At Towers, we believe every child deserves access to high quality teaching and a knowledge rich curriculum. Our rigorous behaviour system ensures teachers have the freedom to teach without disruption and our detentions are run centrally by the Leadership Team. We value teachers’ time and follow a streamlined assessment policy we call Closing the Gap (see our blog) so that teachers can plan responsively to the needs of the students in front of them rather than spending hours marking. We firmly believe that subject knowledge underpins good teaching and therefore expect our staff to engage with research and further reading as part of ongoing CPD, renewing, refining and debating their expertise continually.
If you have passion for inquiry and research, if you share our uncompromising vision of high expectations and if you believe that every child has the right to be successful, then Towers is the school for you.

We take our jobs seriously but still find time to laugh. Our students see how much we care through our thoughts, words and deeds. We are greater than the sum of our parts and we are looking for people who want to contribute to our collective improvement, and to be part of a community which challenges the status quo.
